My Daemon
Those of you that have read the 'His Dark Materials' series will be interested to know that the Librarians Daemon is a Dog, or more specifically a whippet. Those you who do not know what the hell a Daemon is- shame on you. 'His Dark Materials' is a fantasy trilogy where all humans have a animal companion that is part of their soul. You choose a form for you animal in you teens and it is with you for your entire life. That is not a very good explanation, but it is one of the greatest book series ever so go read it for more specific detail. Please feel free to critique my daemon, but what can you do a web site gave it to me and that is like law or something.

President Bush- Kinda Dumb. Don't cha Think
Our Fearless leader makes an ass out of himself again to surprise of absolutely no one. Frankly, I do think the guy can actually say anything that does not piss the Librarian off. He is clearly the worst president in the Librarians lifetime and that includes that paranoid psychopath Richard M. Nixon. And as Hunter S Thompson wrote in the dedication to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas- a favorite of the Librarian's by the way- 'to Richard M Nixon, you never let me down.' The meaning, of course, is that he knew that he was evil from the beginning. The Librarian is not quite as perceptive as Dr Thompson but you would have to be brain dead to be surprised at his utter cluelessness- is that even a word? The most recent bonehead Bush concoction is is reaction to a Supreme Court decision that is forcing the EPA into treating car emissions as actual pollution. Lets go to tape. Here is a link to the Star tribune that has a quote from the Leader himself. First he acknowledged that Humans at least partially responsible for Global Warming, but before we go off half cocked and do something about it, the:
So lets keep this straight, we are part of the problem of global warming, but we won't do anything about it that might stop economic growth or if our fellow countries increase their share of pollution. President dingbat is saying that sure its a problem, but we not going to sacrifice anything of ours and if everybody else won't go along, well screw the world. What a big baby. Maybe this might be the time to show so leadership. Show the world how to act toward this new reality. If global warming is a problem then fix it, and maybe that is the problem. He does not think it is a problem. I hope everybody who voted for this jackass is happy.
Well enough with President Confused. Here are some recent pictures of the Librarians kids:

Here is Harry and Jack helping the Librarian build a complicated shelving unit. It was from IKEA and the whole thing took under 2 hours. But man do we work hard in those 120 minutes. In this picture they are spreading the board out so I can screw them in. They are naturals woodworkers, or natural whatever IKEA uses that seems like wood.

In this shot Harry is getting a tool out of his baby tool kit finish the sanding on the unit. Jack is looking on and telling him to use the small one. They do not actually talk, but since they are twins they use their wacky telepathy. It is really freaky. One twin will throw his food and then tell the other one to do the same. Sometimes they scare me.

Continuing with the helping out around the house theme here is a few shots of twins emptying the dishwater. Even though Jack is attempting to stab the Librarian in this particular shot, you might have to enlarge the pic to see the large dangerous knife. Harry is actually doing his job, but Jack feels he has the time to screw around. I hope this is not a trend.

This shot is basically the same as the first one, but without the attempted assault.

Here is a picture of Leo running through a big puddle with his Dash sweatshirt and rubber boots. He had a lot of fun running back and forth in the puddle and when he was done he had water in his boot up to the brim. Spring is fun.

This last shot is of Iver and Harry playing in the sand box. There is really not enough room for all four of them and I do not think they make bigger turtles so I guess we are we are stuck.
That's all for now. See you around the Library

president attached two conditions.... any regulatory program should not slow economic growth, nor should its benefits to the atmosphere be offset by mounting emissions from China, India and other growing economies.
