I personally laughed my ass off! Celine Dion has taken "clueless" to a whole new level!

Thanks for the post.

I guess what bothered me about the whole performance was that she is making millions and millions of dollars with basically no talent. When she was air guitaring? at the beginning it looked as if she had never, ever, picked up an air guitar and strummed along to a tune. She is like the robots in the old Star Trek, with Dr Crater, that are trying to look human, but just lack on key element and the fact that she heats her evil Canadian home with American greenbacks makes me sick to my stomach.

Remember P.T. Barnum's "there's a sucker born every minute"? What I find truly amazing is that the show producers can gather so many of them together in the same time for the same Celine Dion performance! Did you see the way the audience was eating it up?

And the air guitar, is was classic Celine. It fit right in with the whole pathetic performance. And how about that dance she performed? I loved the mini-steppin' in the heels.

I accidentally stumbled onto this entry - I have to say as a Celine fan even I found this celine moment extremely bizzare and embarassing. So I understand all the hate/attacks she's getting for this lol, but I do have to say that there is a different audience for different musical styles - and Celine has hers, I would venture to say that she is most definitely not talentless. Unlike Britney Spears or Beyonce, Celine has never been considered conventionally beautiful (and extremely awkward and skinny) and so she has never used her body or image to gain fame. So quite obviously even if you dislike her, you have to give credit where credit is due - and that is that (a lot) of people (not all, obviously) find her to have an amazing voice.

That still doesn't change the fact that most of her English material is sentimental cliched shlock.
[/done with my rant]

PS I did hear that AC/DC themselves were quite puzzled when they saw this performance lol.
