Hot Drinks- the spawn of Satan ?????

I saw this in a article from the BBC about Mitt Romney and the possibility of a mormon president:

You may already know that Mormons do not drink coffee or alcohol but what you might not know is that their religious ban is on "hot drinks". And that cocoa has been decreed "not hot".

Now I was familiar with the decree not drink alcohol or coffee, but I assumed, naively, that it had something to do with the particular effects that those respective drinks had on human behavior. No, they are banned for being a tad to warm. What about soup, that almost a drink or that dipping sauce you get with a French Dip sandwich that is usually on the warm side. And why does Cocoa get some sort of waiver on the 'no hot drinks' rule. Cocoa is always hot, in fact, that is why people drink in the first place, because it is hot. What is wrong with these people. If you want to have a rule about hot drinks have a rule, but don't try to tell me that cocoa is not hot. Its hot, end of story.

Norm: Surprise is actually a fraud, who knew !!!!

Hi again. It has been a long time between posts, but I have been taking a small break from the blogs. But is back to business and my business for the next two years will be tearing that fraud Norm Coleman down brick by brick. I saw this on MNPUBLIS and I think it is demonstrative what waste our senior senator is. Coleman was attempting to get a mileage wavier for a Minnesota Hospital added as rider on another bill, but could not come through. Now I am not sure what a mileage waiver is and why it would be important for Senator Coleman to get attached, but since he thinks it is important, then the fact that he could not get it speaks volumes about his Senatorial impotence. In the words of Jon-David from the MNPublius

When the chips were down, Coleman’s Republican friends deserted him. Coleman noted how many Democrats supported him from the House, yet he still couldn't’t get it done. Why? Because on the Senate floor, when the votes come down, he’s weak.

Smile'nNorm carried the water for Bush and his ridiculous administration for 4 years and this is payment. With a Republican majority he is on outside looking in, now with the Democrats retaking the chamber I am sure he will continue to bring home the same thing, nothing.

Here is a picture of the older boys and a rather bitchin' castle. It has a door and a couple of windows. Iver is practicing his kung-fu and Leo is worried about Iver practicing his Kung-fu. He is a loaded weapon ya know.











Here is a picture of crawling jack. Both the twins are crawling up a storm. You be in the kitchen working on dinner and all of sudden you will hear low rumble and then you see them coming, much like a slow motion stampede . Harry is the better crawler, but Jack is catching up.







I was attempting to find a picture of both, but Mrs Librarian has emptied the camera into her password protected profile, so I actually only have pictures of Jack. So pretend that his is actually Harry. This smiling picture is one of the rare times that I was able to get one of them smiling.
