Here is two pictures of Todd and the kids heading out on the nature walk. On the walk Todd asked them various nature questions, if they were right- they were always right, the questions were way to easy- they got a oversized puzzle piece the tell that would tell them were a treasure chest was that had goody bags for the kids. Let me clue the non parents out there, kids love goody bags and there is nothing they would not do get one, including going outside on a 90 + day.

Here is a picture of birthday boy- he looks kind of homicidal does he not.
Don't worry though, he got his cake and presents before any unpleasent could happen and he is back to his happy go lucky self.
Here is a picture of the cake. The cakes 'theme' is the
film Madagascar. Why can't adults get cakes like this. I would have loved a Pulp Fiction cake when I was 25. You could have used red icing and maybe had guns and samurai swords on it.
Here's them putting the puzzle together and locating the treasure chest. Unfortunately I could not get a shot of the actual treasure chest because
the kids were rapid with anticipation and kept blocking my view. But trust me it was glorious treasure chest. You can see Iver passing them out to the other kids. He was extremely worried about his role as party leader in the days leading up to the party, but as you can see his leadership skills are not in doubt- he is the Patton of 6 year olds.Well, since it is 1230 in the morning and Leo will be waking me up in about 6 hours I better get to bed, I will complete the Birthday party tomorrow.

Thanks for posting pictures and telling the story of Iver's exciting party! I got some pretty cool cakes as a youngin' (think Cabbage Patch Kids and Cinderella) but never one as cool as that one....I'm so jealous. Kids today...sheesh. How do you say Happy Birthday in Spanish??
